SugarCandy* – The Bralette for a Bigger Bust

I’ve always struggled to find bralettes that fit my fuller bust. Ever since my teenage years I’ve been blessed (or cursed, depending on which dress I’m trying to style!) with a more ample bosom, and I learnt very quickly that finding a bralette for a bigger bust is a tricky task.

Are they too chunky? Too small? Do they dig in at the side or ride up throughout the day? There are bralettes for bigger busts out there, but while some have the pretty lace and look good on paper — they just don’t offer any support… And us fuller bust owners need that support!

That’s why when I found Sugar Candy Bra and their wireless bralettes, I was dubious. I just didn’t know how they were going to keep me supported as promised without any wires.

…But I took the plunge and I honestly haven’t looked back since.

Bralette for bigger bust

When I was a teenager I was bullied for being one of the more, ‘developed’ girls shall we say, and my self confidence and body acceptance took a huge hit. I spent the majority of my life up until about 3 years ago trying to hide my chest, shrink my boobs and hating the number printed in my bra strap.

It’s hard to find bras that fit when you’re above a DD. Even some of the dedicated lingerie stores don’t go up high enough or never seem to have those sizes in stock to try on the day. And dressing a fuller bust can be tricky too. It’s a constant toss up between drowning yourself in tops that are a couple of sizes too big so they actually do up across the chest vs looking accidentally sexy when you’re just wanting to wear a simple cami top and jeans!

It can be so easy to fall into the trap of resenting your body when society doesn’t make it as easy for us to fit into the most basic of items like bras.

It wasn’t until a few years ago when I started training myself to fall in love with my body instead of trying to change it that I was able to accept my fuller bust and even, shock horror, learn to love it!

Once I’d accepted that I was indeed part of the fuller bust family (and that wasn’t about to change any time soon), I stopped trying to squeeze myself into generic brand bras and sought out companies who actually made bras specifically for bigger busts.

I finally felt catered for. I finally felt seen. And most of all, I finally felt comfortable!

Why the Sugar Candy Bra is the Best Bralette for a Bigger Bust

I like to call them my little boob hammocks as their special material cups hold everything in (and up) all day! They’re just so darn comfortable. A stretchy band that doesn’t roll up, generous cups that are oh so smooth under your clothes, and comfortable straps that never dig in despite holding up my Gs.

They’re just a game changer of the bra world and you have to try them for yourself!

My fave is the Basic Bra in that adorable blush pink, but their Crush style is gorgeous too for a sporty crop top kind of vibe. I find myself wearing that one around the house with a pair of high waisted joggers feeling ALL the loungewear Insta-girl feels. And can we also talk about their beautiful Sugar Candy models please?

Basically, if you’re looking for a bralette for bigger busts without the mono-boob but WITH some really decent support – Sugar Candy Bra have got you covered (literally).

They’re my go to everyday bra and I want them in every colour!
